Isabel Marant for H&M

New collaboration between a designer and H&M. I've already talked about this on my other blog, where I showed the lookbook, but today's post is about the history of the brand and the campaign. If you want to check the lookbook, go here: http://putonachicstyle.blogspot.com.es/2013/09/isabel-marant-for-h-lookbook.html

First I want to tell a bit about the brand. It was founded on 1994 by Isabel Marant, a french designer. In 1999 she presents her first collection during PFW, where she showed one of her lines, the Etoile one.
She kept exploring the fashion world by creating lingerie, a line for kids and opening different stores.
And all of a sudden, big celebrities started to wear her designs and she became as popular as she is nowadays. And that's basically what you need, some celebrities saying your clothes are amazing, and everyone starts saying how they always loved the brand (that's why I hate it girls).
Since 2009 the brand gets bigger and bigger. She always has the best models on her shows and campaigns.
But I personally don't like her clothes. For me, they're always the same. But it's true that she makes more wearable clothes that fit more with H&M's idea of fashion.

I feel the collection will sell like hotcakes, but I'm not going to buy anything.

Last, but not least, we have the campaign for the collaboration. As I said, she can have the models she wants.
The ad itself is nothing special, but it isn't bad. It shows the clothes properly, so it's ok.
